SIMPLE BUSINESS BILLING PRO
INSTALLATION GUIDEWelcome to Simple Business Billing Pro. Follow the instructions belowspecific to your operating system to set up and activate your software.

WINDOWS INSTALLATION

Step 1: Download the AppLocate the 'SimpleBusinessBilling.exe' file provided to you.
Step 2: Security Warning (SmartScreen)Because the app is custom-made for your business, Windows might say:"Windows protected your PC".Click "More info".Click "Run anyway".
Step 3: First Launch & Machine IDThe app will open to an "Activation Required" screen.You will see a 16-character 'MACHINE ID'.Click the "Copy Machine ID" button.Send this ID to the software provider to receive your license key.
Step 4: ActivationOnce you receive your 12-digit License Key, paste it into theentry box and click "Activate Software".

macOS INSTALLATION
Step 1: Extract the AppYou will receive a 'SimpleBusinessBilling_Mac.zip' file.Double-click it to extract the 'SimpleBusinessBilling.app'.Move the app into your 'Applications' folder.
Step 2: Security Warning (Gatekeeper)Double-click the app. You might see: "SimpleBusinessBilling cannotbe opened because it is from an unidentified developer".Click "OK".Go to System Settings -> Privacy & Security.Scroll down to the "Security" section.You will see a message about the app being blocked. Click "Open Anyway".Enter your Mac password and click "Open" one last time.
Step 3: First Launch & Machine IDThe app will open to an "Activation Required" screen.Copy the 'MACHINE ID' displayed.Send this ID to the software provider to receive your license key.
Step 4: ActivationPaste the 12-digit License Key provided by the seller andclick "Activate Software".
TROUBLESHOOTING
License Key Not Working:Ensure there are no accidental spaces before or after the key.The key is specific to your Machine ID and will not work onother computers.
Data Storage:Your business data and settings are stored locally in a foldernamed '.simple_billing_pro' in your User Home directory.Deleting this folder will reset your data and license status.
Support:If the application crashes, look for 'billing_app_crash_log.txt'on your Desktop and send it to your software provider.
